Oil & Gas Resource Characterization Book Published

Resource Characterization is what drives the upstream oil and gas industry. It is the process by which hydrocarbons are quantified. It can also include the valuation of said hydrocarbon resources.

Although resource characterization is very important in the petroleum industry, very few texts directly address this task. It is left to the reservoir engineer or geologist to combine different theories to try to complete the task.
